Rates are for 4 guests in C-402. Add $20/night for each additional guest up to the maximum of 6.


Until confirmed, rates are subject to change. Please add Hawaii/AccomTax of 13.41% when you are figuring your total. A non-refundable reservation fee of $50.00 is required with each reservation. For stays below the minimum stay, add a $100 short stay service charge.

We are owner operated and live right here in West Maui, so you never have to deal with an impersonal rental agency. There are no other additional fees. I provide wi-fi for free. We thoroughly clean the accomodation prior to your arrival and our housekeepers can be hired by you for intermediate cleaning if you wish. At least one mid-stay maid service is required for extended stays.

How to reserve:
We require payment of 50% of your total due when you make your reservation in order to hold your dates. For longer stays, installment payments can be arranged. You must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival date. Once you are paid in full, we email you directions and check-in procedures. We take a credit card number to hold your dates immediately until your first payment arrives in the mail. Payment can be made by personal/bank check, money order and/or PayPal (to include the PayPal fee).

Our cancellation policy:
Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel 60 days (2 months) or more prior to your arrival day, we issue a full refund minus the fee. For holiday season reservations (involving dates between Dec 20th and Jan 5th), the cancellation window is 120 days, or 4 months out instead of 2 months out. The refund will not include PayPal fees, if you elected that form of payment, as we are not recipients of those fees. If you cancel within 60 days of your arrival date (or within 120 days if it is a holiday season reservation), the refund is based on our ability to fill your reserved dates. We will refund as many of your reserved dates as we are able to fill, at the rate we are able to negotiate, minus the cancellation fee. Your reserving with a credit card and/or payment is explicit acceptance of this policy.

My wife and I rented Papakea C-402 for 15 days Feb 1-15/12 and really enjoyed this 4th floor unit. Jan was great and delivered a foam bed topper for the master king which made a big difference! Unit is nicely appointed and clean and loft offered additional room and privacy for when our son and girlfriend joined us after first week. Did not have to run A/C at all due to nice front to back breeze between lanai and master windows. Very private, quiet location with great views of grounds, pool and ocean (and tons of whales), and close to lots of walking distance markets and amenities. Enjoyed the free wifi, tennis courts and gas grills around pool area. Have booked again for 2 weeks Xmas 2012 - can't wait.
